WinFAQ: Missing msvcrt.dll File
AbiWord generally relies on __MSVCRT.DLL__ and __COMCTL32.DLL__ already being installed. In most Windows installations they will be, however in some (especially for Windows 95 users) they may not be.
__MSVCRT.DLL__: VC6 Runtime Redistributables may be obtained from Microsoft. for Windows 95, 98, & NT 4.
Windows Millennium, 2000, XP, or later can only be updated through operating system updates or service packs. _It includes COMCTL32.DLL, so you do not need to get it separately._
