I've been using AbiWord 2.8.6 stable on Linux Mint 13 MATE LTS "Maya" (Ubuntu 12.04-based). I enjoy it very much.
I learned that there is a version 3.0.0 stable out now. Please, are there any plans to offer soon a .deb file for installation?
