Thanks for letting me (and the list) know when a glitch like
this gets solved. How many potential Abi users, without simply asking
for help, give up immediately when they think slow scrolling makes
Abiword unusable?
On the green squiggles: this grammar checker is a major resource hog (at
least on my low-powered systems). I immediately disable it whenever
installing Abiword:
Edit-->Preferences-->Spell Checking-->"Check grammar as you type"
There was some controversy about this when it was being developed for
Abiword. I kind of like it...but only for reviewing a document for final
editing, never for checking grammar as I type (I think it should be
disabled by default).
