Re: Where can I find normal.awt in Mac OS 10.4?

Dear Mark and Ryan,

Well, I have already tried also to open and modify the normal.awt
file from the file path that Ryan gave:

   /Applications/AbiWord.app/Contents/Resources/templates/normal.awt

and it has the identical outcome.

To double check, I've just repeated all the steps with this file with
the bizarre result that it opens first of all in my preferred format
of palatino 14 which I confirm by repeating all the modify steps and
then save it over the old normal.awt in templates. But still when I
open a new page it comes up with that damned original default. Double
Aaaargh!

To sum up: if I navigate to the normal.awt file via the path shown
above it opens in my new default but if I simply open a new file it
opens in the old default default.

It is beginning to look like a bug isn't it?

Best wishes,

David
