I have still couldn't solve that problem yet.. don't why?... eventhough I have tried the last information also couldn't. How come my source code different with others that couldn't build in window 2k....So terrible my source code. It's seems doesn't like my environment.
Do you have any another idea.. since I'm nearly give up and quite jealous that our friends/member mailing list enjoy with abiword environment. How to fix the error.

If you are using modified mingw32.mk from mingw-patch.tar.gz it's not

There is no use to remove '-ansi' flag since you've split line 36 into
two: "ABI_OPT_PACIFY_COMPILER=1" (BE SURE: no spaces or tabs at the
end) and "#...."

It should be working, but I haven't tested it.
Try to do the following. Clean your system ("cd /d/abiword-1.1.4/abi; make
clean; make realclean; make abiclean;") just to be sure, then go to
/d/abiword-1.1.4/ ("cd /d/abiword-1.1.4/") and unpack
mingw-patch.tar.gz ("tar xvf mingw-patch.tar.gz"). Answer "yes" for
all overwrite request. Then try to compile abiword again. Maybe it
would not help but will ease identification of the problem.
