Hi,
Both the Gtk and GNOME RPMs (-1 and -3 versions) that Martin
made dislike my machine -- they segfault on startup, shortly
after showing the main window.
Here's a partial stack trace:
#0 0x403c1801 in __kill () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
#1 0x403c15da in raise (sig=6) at ../sysdeps/posix/raise.c:27
#2 0x403c2d82 in abort () at ../sysdeps/generic/abort.c:88
#3 0x080ceafc in signalWrapper () at eval.c:41
#4 <signal handler called>
#5 0x0810263c in GR_Graphics::doRepaint () at eval.c:41
#6 0x080d10d6 in AP_UnixLeftRuler::_fe::expose () at eval.c:41
#7 0x400f5c21 in gtk_marshal_BOOL__POINTER (object=0x85136a0,
func=0x80d1068 <AP_UnixLeftRuler::_fe::expose(_GtkWidget *, _GdkEventExpose *)>, func_data=0x0, args=0xbfffe630) at gtkmarshal.c:28
#8 0x4012556a in gtk_handlers_run (handlers=0x8502ec0, signal=0xbfffe5d0,
object=0x85136a0, params=0xbfffe630, after=0) at gtksignal.c:1917
#9 0x401249bb in gtk_signal_real_emit (object=0x85136a0, signal_id=25,
params=0xbfffe630) at gtksignal.c:1477
This is an Athlon running Red Hat 7.1 and the latest Ximian
stuff.
Any ideas?
Matthew.
