OK this might not be the answer we want, but our libiconv is truly
prehistoric! Its Windows Korean support is totally broken and it
looks like one of the Chinese code pages is broken too. We're
using 1.0, current is 1.6.1 - which also has excellent
transliteration support we could make good use of. I've filed
Bug #1474 some time ago. It might even fix this guys bug -
looks like #1535.

Can a knowing someone please upgrade us so I can practice my
Korean typing. (:
